Top Book Series to Read

A series that always makes me feel some type of way is the “Boys of Tommen” by Chloe Walsh. The entire series is incredible and absolutely worth reading, but something about books three and four sticks with me. These books tell the story of Joey Lynch and Aoife Molloy, following their relationship from when they met in grade school all the way through high school.
Their story isn’t easy. From navigating drug use to abuse this happy ending couple is not worth missing. They truly are powerful and real. These books will have you crying one minute and laughing the next, and Chloe Walsh knows how to keep readers invested and wanting more. The series does include four other books, including the first two which focus on Joey’s sister. Seeing what this family went through and survived makes it even more special.
Stand Alone Books to Read

Wow. That’s honestly the only word that truly fits “Say You Swear” by Meagan Brandy. I clearly have a thing for books that completely wreck you, because this one is on another level. There’s something about falling in love with a couple, getting comfortable with how they act, and then something completely heartbreaking happens that just hits different. Especially when you never saw it coming.
While there is some foreshadowing that happens, there is something else that happens and it feels so out of left field that it makes the story even more powerful. It makes you feel something in the best (and the worst) way possible.
The story follows Arianna, who is left heartbroken by her twin brother’s best friend. While trying to navigate this brand new life and finding herself, she unexpectedly discovers comfort in Noah, the star quarterback. On the surface, it might sound like a typical young adult romance, but it truly is so much more than that. This is the kind of book that stays with you after you finish it. The kind that makes you wish erasing memories was a thing just to experience it for the first time. If you enjoy this book, you can also read the next part, “Promise Me Not”, to read Arianna’s brother’s story.
If you’re thinking about picking up this book, get those tissues ready because you will need them!
