I’m Dinithi Ferdinando, a final-year graduate student at the University of Northern Iowa. Originally from Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, I embarked on a journey to the US to pursue my dream of earning a Master’s in Business Administration. If you’re wondering if it was a wise decision, I can confidently say, “Yes!” It’s the most certain I’ve ever been about anything in my life. My time here has been an enriching and fulfilling journey, and I feel truly blessed to have found the University of Northern Iowa.

Now, if you’re reading this post, I understand your longing to study in the USA. Don’t worry; I’ll be here to provide you with my personal experiences as a student, starting from the application process at the University of Northern Iowa, all the way to receiving your admission letter and safely landing in Iowa, USA. And even beyond that, I’ll continue to assist and support you.

I’m Rejana Avdiaj, an undergraduate student from Tropoje, Albania, a small country that not everyone has heard about, but one I’m proud to represent. My journey led me to the University of Northern Iowa through the UGRAD (Global Undergraduate Exchange) Program, generously sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. My major is Business Informatics, and what I’m enjoying the most at the University of Northern Iowa is the student-centered learning experience and the robust interaction with professors.

 It’s a dream come true to study in the USA, and although my stay here lasts only one semester, I’m determined to savor every moment of this incredible opportunity. With my interactions with fellow international students, I’ve come to appreciate the incredible diversity that defines the University of Northern Iowa. This experience has broadened my horizons and shifted my perspective on the world.
