For my final post, I wanted to do something that would end on a good note. So I chose to do popular wedding themes in 2025. Most people now want to have a specific theme for their wedding and below are all the most popular ones of 2025 so far. Check out my other post https://buzz.uni.edu/weddingdays/. Eco-Chic
An eco-chic theme is perfect if you’re a big fan of nature and want your wedding to be beautiful and sustainable. Green flowers, pastel tones, and vintage decor all around will give off just the vibe you’re going for. Add in touches of nature by having locally-sourced decor and environmentally conscious elements. Have your ceremony outside for a nice breeze that will elevate everyone’s experience.

Modern Minimalist
If you’re one of those brides who love the “less is more” saying, then modern minimalist is going to be your perfect theme. It gives a sophisticated elegance and modern simplicity to your big day. Go with neutral tones, organic textures, and delicate floral arrangements for a refined aesthetic.

Cottage core
This charming theme features delicate lace, wildflowers, vintage furniture, and soft pastel tones. Cottagecore weddings capture a sense of nostalgia, cozy aesthetics, and the beauty of nature. Weathered wood, rustic or aged brass, add character to your centerpieces.

Rustic
A Rustic theme wedding is perfect for those who love natural elements or homey decor. It gives off a cozy atmosphere, adding DIY elements to give it that ultimate rustic feel. Have string lights hanging all around, use mason jars as centerpieces, and add a wood panel backdrop for people to take photos. If you are considering this type of wedding, have it be at a chic barn or rural venue.

Boho Chic
The boho wedding theme gives off a very cool and carefree vibe for all. Work in some earthy tones, foliage, dried florals, and natural elements for the ultimate boho look. These different tones and textures will give an upscale look while still being low scale. Go for a desert venue or desert vibes to ace this wedding theme.

Tropical
For those of you who want the perfect destination wedding, going with a tropical theme is perfect. Add in vibrant hues, palm leaves, seashells, and woven elements for the ultimate tropical wedding feel. Serve fruity cocktails with mini umbrellas to make your guests feel like they’re on a tropical vacation.

Gothic
For those couples who enjoy dark and moody themes, have a gothic wedding. Have an all-black palette, dim lighting, and add in simple touches of flowers to give it an upscale look. Add in some dark florals, candlelit tables, and velvet textures that will create an elegant but edgy atmosphere.

Glamorous
A glamorous theme will always be a go-to for a wedding. It gives a high-shine and high-impact look. Have crystal chandeliers, luxe fabrics, a dramatic gown, and lots of sparkle. Incorporate black, gold, white, and metallics for a bold statement.
