White

White is a classic color that reminds us of winter. All the white will give the illusion of ice and winter times. White goes well with blues, gold, and greens. Depending on what direction you’re planning on going white will help tie any color into a winter theme.

Silver

Adding silver to your winter color palette will make everything they’ve been in a winter wonderland. Silver is a great accent to whites and blue that will give it the wonderland look. However, if you combine it with gold to give it a warm look while still being elegant.

Gold

Most people who have winter weddings want to stand out and make it memorable. Gold is a great way to do this the brassiness combined with white can make it feel cozy. Combined with green or black you have an upscale glitzy feel to your big day. Gold is a great color to add some contrast and a bit of holiday magic.

Evergreen

Evergreen is a dark shade of green that saturated and gives a good natural look. This color can give you that beautiful touch of nature to any wedding even in winter. Because it’s somewhat dark it gives your wedding a pop of color while still reminding people of trees with a light frost on them. Evergreen can also help give your wedding a more sophisticated feel.

Plum

Winter reminds people of dark times so dark colors make any winter wedding feel a little more cozy. Plum is a great color for a winter wedding because it gives a mysterious ambiance. This color goes well with gold for a higher-class look on your big day or charcoal for a cool tint.

Charcoal

Out of all the shades of gray charcoal is the perfect one for a winter wedding. It gives your venue a cool tone but can also give your wedding a sleek look depending on what you pair it with. If you want to go for more of a bohemian vibe charcoal pairs well with earthy tones as well.

Burgundy

Burgundy can give your wedding the feel of Christmas with the red but having it be darker makes it seem less Christmas based. Burgundy is a nice deep red that can be paired with different greens or brass colors for a more moody type of vibe.

Royal Blue

Royal blue gives your wedding that black-tie dress code while also standing out. If you want you can add some jewel tones like dark violet and forest green with candles to showcase those beautiful shades. Adding textured linens also will give this wedding a huge upgrade.

Forest Green

When you think of winter most people think white but there are also those forest green colors showing through with the trees being covered in snow. Forest green and white can create a reminder of those beautiful times. You can also add forest green to most other colors to show off those earthy tones while still having greener at your wedding.

Slate

Slate another shade of grey but darker gives your wedding a more upscale look. You can combine charcoal and white with this gorgeous shade of grey to give it a more neutral feel. Add it with green and silver to give it a more elegant and modern look.
