My name is Evelyn Gerber, i’m a videographer and photographer based in Iowa! Although I love both, I specialize in wedding videography. This creative outlet is everything to me, capturing love and meeting amazing couples-it’s genuinely my dream job.

HOW I STARTED

As a kid, I was always drawn to cameras and filmmaking, constantly making silly videos with my siblings. I first got my hands on a real camera during my sophomore year of high school in yearbook class, where I learned the basics of photography and how to actually use a camera.

During my senior year of high school, I started taking videography more seriously and deepened my understanding of video creation. I took a creative project class where I focused on learning more about filmmaking. During this time, I also began creating videos for my school’s marketing, gaining hands-on experience and refining my skills.

During my freshman year of college, I was asked to film my first wedding! I instantly fell in love with the art of creating wedding videos and the way they capture such meaningful moments. That same year, word spread, and I was asked to film six more weddings.

Since then, I’ve expanded beyond wedding films to photographing couples, seniors, and families! I love continuously learning about the art of wedding videography and can’t wait to keep exploring the process!
