Escape from Tarkov’s latest event adds multiple new quests for players to complete with the incentive of unlocking a brand new area in the game. This new area is called the labyrinth, and is riddled with traps and bosses.

How to access the Labyrinth
To access the Labyrinth the player must first be level 21 and complete a total of 14 newly added quests. These quests range from simply collecting items and handing them in, to planting items around the Tarkov maps. These quests are time consuming and can be expensive due to the required items to complete some of them. Note that there are time locks between some of the quests. Upon completion of these quests, the player will unlock a new transit location on the map Shoreline where they will be taken to the new location. For more specifics on the event quests go to the official Tarkov Wiki. Here you can find each quest and steps to complete them.
The Labyrinth
Upon arrival in the labyrinth there are a total of 5 spawn areas called chambers. This means that if a player enters the transit with a team of 5 players, they will be the only players on the map. It is important to note however that the spawns aren’t next to each other, so even if you transit with others you will spawn alone. When entering the labyrinth there are a few things to be cautious about. First off the labyrinth is home to the Shadow of Tagilla, the new boss for this event. The Shadow of Tagilla is equipped with a new tier 6 helmet that also guards his neck, making him a very difficult boss to fight. Killa also spawns in the labyrinth along with a bunch of guards.
On top of the bosses and guards there are traps throughout the labyrinth to watch out for. These traps consist of trip wires, poison, and spikes and are hidden throughout the labyrinth. Bringing in a Leatherman multitool will help to disarm the traps, and an antidote will be useful if you get poisoned. Some of the rooms you spawn in have puzzles that need to be solved in order to escape and explore the rest of the area. The labyrinth is layed out in a maze-like structure with a central area. It is recommended to fight the bosses before entering the central area, as it is easy to get overrun once entered.
Loot
The labyrinth offers a variety of valuable loot to entice players to enter. The bosses and guards have their usual rare loot drops and high tier ammo. There are also loot spawns all around the labyrinth that include rare loot spawns. This rare loot consists of things such as GPU’s, injectors, documents, etc. as well as some of the best ammo in the game. You will also notice keys laying around the labyrinth. These keys can be used to access the various exfils throughout the area.
Summary
Overall this is one of the most fun Escape from Tarkov events I have played. There is a lot of new content to enjoy and it offers a new challenge to go for. The labyrinth is certainly not an easy place to conquer, however the loot is worth the risk.
