This isn’t so much a campaign, but rather a very successful and memorable holiday commercial. In the Hershey’s ad, the Kisses are seen playing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” like bells. The ad was first shown in 1989. The commercial had such a lasting impact that it was even recreated in 2023, proving its success.

6. Cadbury Secret Santa Campaign

In 2022, Cadbury launched a nationwide campaign that allowed 120,000 people in the U.K. to send chocolates to their friends and family members anonymously. To participate, individuals had to be among the first to find Cadbury’s select campaign posters, which were scattered across the country. Each poster featured a QR code that linked to Cadbury’s website. From there, participants could choose the chocolate they wanted to send and select the recipient.
