Where Will I Be?

Summer 2025 is right around the corner, and I couldn’t be more excited! For me, summer means more than just a break from school; it’s a season full of new adventures, my internship, and, of course, visiting new theme parks. I’ll be busy this summer with experiences that blend fun, passion, and professional growth. In this post, I’ll be sharing which parks I’m visiting and what shows I plan on seeing!

Book Of Mormon – Stephen’s Auditorium

This is the only show I am seeing that I have bought tickets for. My boyfriend and his mom have both talked about wanting to see this show, and it has been on my bucket list for a while. I surprised them with tickets over Christmas, and the time is here! I am seeing this show on May 1st.

Advenutureland – Altoona, IA

I work here! I will be here almost every day in the summer. Don’t worry – I will still visit once or twice with family and friends as a guest to have fun!

Six Flags Great America – Gurnee, IL

I am going there on a trip this weekend! Driving there is always the worst part of the trip; we plan on leaving Des Moines at 7 am – YUCK. We will spend the majority of the day Saturday, and then most of the afternoon Sunday, and drive back. I am most excited to ride Maxx Force and Raging Bull.

Kings Island – Mason, OH

I have been to this park before. It ranked fifth out of the 11 parks I visited last summer. You can see my tier list HERE! Overall, I am super excited to go back. I hope the Eiffel Tower is open this time… I was a little disappointed when neither Kings Island nor Kings Dominion was open.

Kentucky Kingdom – Louisville, KY

I haven’t really heard much about this park, but I know it includes both a waterpark and a theme park. I rarely visit waterparks, so I think going to theirs would be a nice change of past. Looking through Kentucky Kingdom’s attractions, I am most excited for Lightning Run.

Holiday World – Santa Claus, IN

I have been told to visit this park over and over again. I am so glad to have the opportunity to do so this summer. This is another park where the waterpark is a larger part of the experience. However, I am excited to ride Thunderbird and The Voyage

Cedar Point – Sandusky, OH

I am so excited to go back to this park! You can read about my experience HERE

Do you have any plans for the summer? Are there any places you wish you could visit? Let’s chat in the comments!
