About Me

Hey everyone! So happy you are here!  My name is Brea, the founder and author behind Her Leadership Mindset! I am currently a junior at the University of Northern Iowa, double majoring in Organizational Leadership and Advertising and Digital Media. After my undergraduate, I plan on pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the fall of 2026. My career goal is to become a Leadership/Management Consultant.

This blog is not only a class assignment, but also to share my passion for leadership with other women in the business world. In my work experience, I have seen different forms of leadership. Ones that I adored and ones that I believe could be improved. Throughout these experiences, I can see what type of leader I aspire to become.

My goal is to empower those around me and make every woman feel the best they can, and that is why I chose to make this blog. Please take this information and apply it to your professional life and maybe even your personal life. Every person is a leader in their own way, whether you have the job title or not. It is important to understand how to correctly be a leader to have the most influence! 

Throughout this semester of school, I will post information and tips on how to be the best leader you can be. Hopefully, I might be able to empower you to lead differently and more confidently. I will also be interviewing business leaders and owners about their experiences and provide readers with insight.
