Let’s Chat Over a Cup of Coffee

Hi! My name is Kylie and I love coffee. Like A LOT! Brew a good cup of coffee and get comfy. We’re going to talk all things espresso.

Let’s begin with the story of how I discovered caffeine. My love for coffee started when my mom and I decided to start the show Gilmore Girls. This show is based on a mom-and-daughter duo. Rory and Lorelei are best friends. Sarcasm is an evident personality trait for both of them. The most important thing about these two is that they enjoy drinking jumbo cups of coffee at all hours of the day.

Caffeine is a necessity for me because…

As I began college, my passion (and need!) for caffeine only grew stronger. Local coffee shops in the Cedar Valley became a space where I was able to meet new friends, foster relationships, celebrate creativity and rejuvenate my mood on stressful academic days.

I love to stay busy. This means I have a lot of late nights and early mornings to get everything done on time. I am a full-time college student, sorority woman, lead on the executive board within my sorority, and campus ministry leader. I have an internship through the university I attend, barista, member of two other marketing clubs on campus. I’m also am a friend, daughter, and fun enthusiast. Busy might be understatement! You can see the need to know where to get my daily caffeine boost.

To all the coffee lovers…

What started as a fun Netflix show with my mom slowly became a daily habit, part-time job, and future career aspiration. I am a college student who keeps busy and requires lots of espresso to get through hard days. I work as a barista who strives to create the same joy I find in a good cup of coffee for others within the Cedar Valley community. And I am a dreamer who desires to own my coffee shop.
