Seasonal Espresso Forecast

The holiday time is here and the forecast is looking extra festive and seasonal in regards to cups of coffee! There is nothing better in the coffee world than seasons filled with pumpkin and peppermint.

Let’s look at some ways local coffee shops are embracing the seasonal holiday spirit.

One of the ways to get a taste of the holiday season is by checking out the fall flavor combinations. I don’t have enough money to try every fall flavor from coffee shops because I am a broke college student, but there are so many options! Whether is it the gingerbread chair from Sidecar, or the Maple Pumpkin latte from Sarah’s Espresso, the list goes on and on for seasonal flavors.

I have plans to try a seasonal flight of coffee at the Savvy Bean in Waterloo with a classmate which I am super excited about. We have plans to try the Eggnog Macchiato, Maple Chestnut Latte, Marshmallow Sugar Cookie Latte, and a Salted Caramel Oatmilk Chai. Every shop has fun unique flavors around the holidays! Check back for a coffee flight review.

If you love being festive with the season and love coffee, think about repping it around town! Sidecar coffee decided to embrace the holiday fall season by creating custom merch filled with spookiness. They offered a sweatshirt, tshirt, and hat for sale. These designs all incorporated ghosts, skeletons, pumpkins, and COFFEE.

They are also releasing ornaments and new winter mugs. The perfect gift for someone during the holiday months and Christmas time!
