Mental Health Awareness Month: The Art of Letting Go
With it being Mental Health Awareness Month, I saw it fitting to make a blog post about this week. It is OK not to be OK. We as a society are finally shifting into a period where we are accepting mental health as a real health issue, and it is about time. We need to realize that mental health is just as important as physical health. You can not be physically healthy, if your mental health is not where it should be. If you or someone you know is struggling mentally, please reach out to someone you trust or go to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (Lifeline) nationwide by dialing 800-273-TALK (8255).

Read, Breath, and Let it Go!
Here are some of my favorite quotes and pieces of writing that have made me stop and think about what is important in life. It made me feel that everything I am worrying about right now will not matter in a few days, weeks, or even years. I soon realized the things that matter most to me in the world, and I want someone else to be able to have that feeling as well. Mental Health Awareness is so important, now more than ever. Let’s fight this ugly disease one person at a time.

YOU belong here, and the world is always a better place with you in it. Please don’t give up on yourself because I am willing to bet there is someone out there who is willing to fight for you and show you just how much they love and care for you. If you don’t want to stay for yourself, stay for them. You are so much more than a mental health illness.
