Invincible is officially back! After season 2 concluded in early April, 2024, fans have been eagerly waiting to see where the story will continue. This season starts with a bang as since the defeat in season 2 he has made it his mission to get stronger, and it appears that he has. This season dives deep into the different philosophies that Cecil and Mark share on their respective views on the planet. It spends a lot of time character building, which is nice to really give you insight on how in depth the character building can be. It opens up new opportunities in the future for side characters to be able to make big moves in the anticipated future.
The animation also continues to be superb, as always, and the fights are more brutal than ever. It really reflects with Mark’s contradiction of wanting to avoid be the monster his father could be, while sharing the core human heart that he has been taught by him mom. He has lash outs where you are either really feeling for him, or as opposed by the way he is acting. It reflects as a great introduction for the season, and has shown that by IMDB reviews and many more platform reviews. I can only hope that the show continues to build off of the tremendous ground that has been set for the next 5 episodes.
