(Spoiler Ahead!!!)

Invincible Season 3 Pros

The show built off everything that was established last year and added even more! This season really focused on Mark reaching his breaking point with everybody. It starts with a unique dynamic between Mark and Cecil. Mark shows a viewpoint in life of always do the right thing, even if it’s minimal. However, Cecil believes sometimes you need if you need to do horrendous things to have a better future, then that is the only right option. The show plays into the differentiating viewpoints, and it leads to some incredible dialogue.

The show also has exceptional side character such as Rex, Eve, Allen, Nolan, and plenty more. All the characters have great and seperate personalites which blend the show together in so many special ways. This leads to the death of Rex being so impactful, because his character has grown on the audience so much.

Lastly, the ending was suberp! The return of Angstrom Levy was expected, but done so ambituous with great choragraphed fights. The hate that you begin to feel from Mark is perfectly executed and makes complete sense from everything he has experienced in the occuring season and past seasons. The final episode was also one of the best in the whole show, and led with the best animated fights in the whole season. Seeing Mark completely change his whole mindset on killing by the end of the fight was a fitting conclusion for his character in the season, as it was the only solution he could choose.

Invincible Cons:

There were really only two cons this season had. One of them was very obvious to almost everyone that watched it, and sadly it involved the quality of the animation. The animation was incredibly choppy at times, and it was pretty apparent there were rushed scenes. There should have been more time and money put forth to have the season look the same way it did in the final 2 episodes, however that was not the case. Some of the fights had still images, and blurry motion which would take away some of the excitement.

The only other complaint was episode 5. This episode was completely pointless to the story, and seemed to be only made to stretch time. The mobster story that it told was boring, and it didn’t offer much to be desired for the villians. The fight scenes were also not that exciting, and resulted in one of the worst episodes in the entire show. It was a shame to have such a bad episode in arguably the best season of the show, but that was what ended up happening. All in all, this season of Invicible was still incredible, even with a few minor issues.

RATING: 8.4/10
