A fun experience to get outdoors, hang out with great people, and get your body moving. This is what you will find at Rail Explorers in Boone Iowa. Rail Explorers offers a variety of tours including the one I did – Scenic Valley Trail.
Fun on the Trail!
We enjoyed the ride and the experience. The workers all provided us a great time with positive attitudes and by checking in on all of us. They have you meet at the main stop where you can check in and play some games or you can sit at a table and have a drink.
The bikes are motorized making it super easy for anyone to do! You can either chose the motorized seat or the front wheels seat. It definitely has some kick when you pedal fast so make sure you are watching how close people are around you. They go through all of the rules in the beginning to ensure everyone will have a smooth ride.
Something I learned is that the bikes have a big bin behind the seats so feel free to bring what you might need.
Bring a cooler with drinks to enjoy during the ride or some food to eat once you get to your destination before going back to the beginning.
I would also recommend bring a sweatshirt. It may seem super nice out but once you start going fast the wind might make it cold.
Overall I would definitely recommend this adventure if you are in the Boone area or any of their other locations.
