Tips to Storing Your Cricut as a College Student

As I began college, I wanted to make sure that I had a way to bring my hobbies with me to College. What I worried about the most was trying to figure out the best way to store my Cricut supplies in a small dorm. In this blog post, I am going to give you some of my tips to storing your Cricut machine.

A Cricut Case

There are really only two major tips that I have when it comes to storing your supplies for your Cricut. The first one is to invest in a case for your Cricut. I simply went to Amazon and ordered one that I liked from there. I will have it linked here.

This case has many pockets to be able to store any tools as well as pens for your Cricut.

Storing Vinyl

I have tried two different methods towards how to store vinyl. The first method was in my dorm last year where I bought a hanging vinyl holder off Amazon (the link is here). I hung this up in my extra closet and was able to grab vinyl as needed when making projects.

The second method is to keep it in a tote. This method is easier for me this year as my dorm does not have much storage space. I bought a shallow but long tote that stores my mats and vinyl and it sits under my bed out of the way. It is a little harder to find exactly what I may be looking for, but it’s a temporary fix to be able to keep doing my hobbies in college.

Overall these two tips have allowed me to be able to keep crafting while I am in college. Whether you are also in college or trying to find ways to store in small spaces, I hope this gives you ideas on how to achieve this!
