Are you looking for a cute DIY craft that can be used as decoration around the house? This post is just the thing for you! These mini decorated pumpkins can be used in a variety of different ways around the house!
What you will need:
- Fake mini pumpkins (I got mine from hobby lobby)
- Bowl
- Water
- Nail polish
Instructions:
- Grab a bowl and fill that bowl up almost all the way with water.
- Grab any color nail polish of your choosing, and dump these into the water. Next, you can swirl them around with a skewer if you would like more of a pattern.
- Next, slowly dip the mini pumpkins into the water until they are fully submerged up to the stem. Pull them out of the water.
- Lastly, set them on a plate to dry overnight.
- Finally, put them around your house as a cute fall decoration.
Now you have a cheap and easy fall decoration to keep around your home! You can use a variety of different sized pumpkins. I got a variety pack from hobby lobby that had both big ones and small ones.
Tips:
- Wear some kind of gloves to protect your hands or else you will get nail polish all over them!
- Dip the pumpkin directly down into the water mixture, and pull it straight back up!
- Put some kind of liner over your bowl to prevent the nail polish from staining it!
