Are you looking for a yummy Christmas cookie? Look no further than these yummy chocolate star cookies. They have the perfect amount of peanut butter and sugar to make them so yummy! They are one of my all time favorite Christmas cookies!
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup margarine (softened)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbs. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 bag chocolate stars or kisses

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Using a stand mixer or hand mixer cream together margarine, peanut butter, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until it is completely creamed together.

In a separate bowl mix together flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well until completely combined.

Slowly add the flour mixture into the wet mixture. Add tiny amounts at a time and mix slowly. Make sure it is all combined.

Place sugar into a bowl. Form the dough into balls, and roll each ball into the sugar.
Place these onto a cookie sheet.

Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes.
Once they are baked add a chocolate star to the top of each cookie.

Enjoy!

Tips:
If your dough is too sticky add a little more flour. Be careful to not add too much. If you add too much the cookies will become dry.
Watch the cookies very closely while they bake because they are very easy to overbake.
Soften the margarine in the microwave for a few seconds, but do not melt it.
