Are you looking for a really cheap and cute way to decorate you space for Christmas? These pipe cleaner Christmas trees are just the thing for you. They are super cheap and easy to make. Most of the items needed, you probably already have around your house! They are so cute, and can be decorated, however you would like. You can also use different colored pipe cleaners to make different colored trees. I added some cute bows to mine, but you could do whatever you like!
What you’ll need:
- Pipe cleaners (whatever color you wish)
- Toilet paper roll
- Hot glue gun
- Tape
- Any decorations you would like to use (I used red mini bows)
Instructions:
Cut the toilet paper roll straight up one side. Roll the toilet paper roll into a cone shape. Tape it together, so it holds. Cut off any excess on the bottom, so it sits flat.

Next, cut your pipe cleaners in half once. Then, cut your halves into halves again. You should be left with 4 bundles of pipe cleaners. Fold these little pieces in half again, but do not cut them. Leave them folded in half.

At the base of your toilet paper roll add some hot glue. Place your pipe cleaners that are folded in half onto the hot glue. Repeat this process around the whole base of the roll.

Right above the other pipe cleaners that are glued to the roll, add a little bit of hot glue. Continue the same process that we did before. Continue this whole process until the entire toilet paper roll is covered in pipe cleaners.

Next, fluff the tree. Make it look as full as you can. Then you can glue on any type of decorations you want. I used red mini bows around my tree.

Tips:
Place the pointy side of the pipe cleaner on the hot glue. This will make the tree look more symmetrical. I did not do this, but had wished I did.
Put a little hot glue on the top of the tree and pinch it together until dry. This will make the top of your tree look more pointy.
Make sure the hot glue is dried completely before fluffing the tree.
