If there were a movie marketing category at the Oscars, Marty Supreme <\/em>would take the cake for this year’s award season. Timothee Chalemet’s charisma has propelled the indie movie studio A24, with the most recent success of Marty Supreme<\/em>. A semi-true story movie about a table tennis star and part-time con-man, Marty Mauser’s aspirations can only be described by the movie marketing’s slogan, “Dream Big”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one standout aspect of Marty Supreme’s marketing is the signature “Marty Supreme jacket.” This isn’t just a normal piece of merchandise, but is a luxury brand windbreaker designed by the US brand, NAHMIAS. But what does this jacket have to do with a movie about a lesser-known table tennis player from the 1950s? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In all honesty, there isn’t much of a correlation, if any. But it’s the usage of the jacket as a symbol of Marty’s spirit that has captured audiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iconic windbreaker is quite simple in its design, which makes the bold typography of the movie’s title stand out. The simplicity and unisex design of it all make it all the more available for all audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
