MrBeast Goes to an Abandonded City

MrBeast just featured Mark Rober in his new video of him traveling to an abandoned city in Croatia. Is the city really that abandoned, and how long ago did everyone leave? Let’s dive into this together and question the legality of it.

MrBeast, alongside Chandler, Kris, and popular YouTuber Mark Rober visited an abandoned city to survive for a week. The video is fun, and although it wasn’t the greatest MrBeast video ever in my opinion, I like abandoned cities and wanted to do some research about the city, mainly where is it.

The city MrBeast and his crew visited is in Kupari, Croatia. Specifically, the Kupari Tourist Complex, which was abandoned during the Croatian War of Independence.

The video struggles to really explain “Why”? Which is okay, but sometimes hurts the objectives. I like exploring abandoned things and places, mostly because of one thing that is there. They fail to highlight any of the big landmarks other than the old hotel-casino thing that was there. Like I said, exploring is fine, but for a big-budget MrBeast video, the viewers are expecting more, and there isn’t really anymore. Half of the video is just about camping and not the city itself that they went to.
