Goodbye…

The semester is coming to an end in a couple weeks, which means this project — and my blog — are also wrapping up. Unfortunately for all of us, UNI will delete this site in early June. Before that happens, I wanted to write one last post to thank everyone who visited, supported, and took the time to read through Cabin Crew Connect. It genuinely means more than you know.

This project started out feeling like a big, intimidating task — something that was going to take a lot of commitment, which honestly, I wasn’t sure I was ready for. But as the semester went on, things started to shift. I interviewed flight attendants, learned more about the career path I hope to follow, and watched the blog gain more traction. With every blog and TikTok post, every like, share and comment, and every new person I connected with, I started to love it more. I realized — this is what I want to do. Not just fly, but connect, share, and build a little corner of the internet that feels real and helpful.

It’s not all bad news, though! Next semester, I’m taking a class on podcasting. If the stars align (and the assignment guidelines do too), I might be able to continue this project in a new form. I’d love to keep sharing my journey toward becoming a flight attendant, and maybe even have some of the same guests back in podcast form somehow someway.

This semester pushed me way out of my comfort zone — reaching out to influencers for interviews, advertising this blog on TikTok, even posting on my personal social media to get more reach (which was honestly scarier than it sounds). It was hard work, but so rewarding. I learned how to tell stories, build an audience, ask better questions, and most importantly, believe in myself a little more.

I’m really grateful I got the chance to take this class and turn something scary into something I’m proud of. Whether you read one post or all of them, thank you. This blog gave me confidence, purpose, and a clearer picture of what my future could look like.
