Photoshoot Behind the Scenes:
Our photoshoot took place around the beautiful UNI campus, where we explored various spots adorned with blooming flowers and lush landscapes. The vibrant colors of spring served as the perfect canvas, showcasing Claire’s radiant personality and style as a graduating senior. We made sure to capture her in various poses, allowing her confidence and joy to shine through.
One of the highlights was finding a picturesque spot with a backdrop of cherry blossom trees. The soft pink petals created a dreamy atmosphere, and Claire truly lit up in front of the camera. We also had fun experimenting with different angles and natural light, ensuring that each shot highlighted the beauty of both Claire and her surroundings. We also had to take a photo in front of the UNI campanile. One thing Cassie did not think about when she was considering taking photos of Claire with the campanile in the background is Claire is short! 4’8″ to be exact. Cassie had to get low to the ground to make Claire a little bit closer in size of the campanile 😂
In between shots, we shared laughs and stories, making the experience even more enjoyable. It was heartwarming to see Claire’s excitement as we reviewed some of the photos on the camera, and her enthusiasm for this new chapter in her life was admirable to see as I currently have one year left to pursue.
Who is Claire?
Claire Svenby is a current senior at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), set to graduate with a Public Relations: Special Events, B.A. this coming December. When she’s not working or in classes, you can find Claire on the golf course, in the kitchen baking, or playing with her dog, Nugget. Following graduation from UNI, she will be a County Youth Coordinator for the ISU Extension & Outreach Program in Johnson County.
