Day 1

Na Mueang waterfall

This waterfall is beautiful and features two waterfalls. The first one is called Na Mueang 1 and is a calm natural pool perfect for swimming! I highly suggest coming here earlier in the day or later in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. The second waterfall is Na Mueang 2 which is for the more adventurous. It takes a hike and leads to a natural infinity pool with a breathtaking view overlooking the jungle. Na Mueang Waterfall offers a free of cost, peaceful escape into nature, making it a must-visit for travelers seeking relaxation and adventure.

Mummified Monk

The Mummified Monk is a naturally preserved body of a Buddhist monk, Luang Pho Daeng. He passed away in a meditative posture in 1973. This is a one-of-a-kind experience. Definitely recommend paying your respects! Visiting is free of charge.

Guan Yu Shrine

The Guan Yu Shrine is dedicated to Guan Yu is a respected Chinese warrior deity who symbolizes bravery and loyalty. This shrine is one of the biggest in Thailand and has great cultural significance. Definitely worth checking out!

Wat Ratchathammaram

The Wat Ratchathammaram is a red Buddhist temple that overlooks the sea. It has detailed carvings of Buddhist stories. This place is very peaceful and interesting to visit! It cost 20 baht to visit which is equivalent to $0.59 USD.

Dinner on Lamai Beach

Lamai beach is a popular destination on Koh Samui but for good reason! This is the perfect place to enjoy beautiful views as well as experience the laid back island vibes. There are many dinner options along the beach!

Day 2

Silver Beach

Silver Beach is known for its soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. It is smaller and less known making it not busy. It is surrounded by boulders and greenery providing a peaceful escape from the busier beaches. It is a perfect place to snorkel and soak up the sun!

Explore Nightlife

There is vibrant nightlife in Koh Samui. Many beachside bars, clubs, and rooftop lounges create. I suggest visiting a fire show and checking out the different nightlife options.

Day 3

Elephant Sanctuary

This is more costly than the other activities in Koh Samui but 100% worth it! It costs about $25/person but offers an up close experience with elephants. Most sanctuaries you are allowed to feed the elephants. Make sure the one you visit is ethical! Any that offer elephant riding or baths are not.

Coral Cove Beach

Coral Cove Beach is similar to Silver Beach because it is more secluded and less busy. The beach has crystal clear water and golden sand. It offers great snorkeling and soft sand to relax on!

Boxing At Chaweng Stadium

If you are looking for an authentic and thrilling Thai experience, visiting a night of boxing at Chaweng Stadium would be perfect for you! The atmosphere and adrenaline of experienced fighters boxing, makes it a must-visit! This experience is around $40 but worth it if you’re willing to spend the money. Compared to boxing in the US, this is much cheaper.

Day 4

Big Buddha Temple

The Big Buddha Temple is known as the Wat Phra Yai. It is a 12 meter tall golden statue of Buddha. It is on the top of a hill and offers amazing views of the island and ocean! The temple itself is known for its intricate architecture. The site is a must visit for tourists and is free but donations are appreciated.

Wat Plai Laem

Wat Plai Laem is a beautiful Buddhist temple close to the Big Buddha. It is known for its vibrant and intricate design. The temple has a statue of an 18 armed Guanyin who is the Goddess of Mercy. This temple is free to visit!

Bangrak Beach

Bangrak Beach is a very laid back beach in Northern Koh Samui. It is a long stretch of soft sand and calm waters! You are able to see Koh Phangan, a neighboring island, from this beach. This is a great place to swim in the calm waters or enjoy laying on the sand bar.

Fishermans Market

Fisherman’s Market is a vibrant and local night market that has a mix of fresh seafood, Thai delicacies, and souvenirs. This is the perfect place to enjoy authentic Thai culture. It’s a must-visit for both locals and tourists!
