As a college student I depend on coffee and as you may know one of my favorite things is to try new local coffee shops. Whether you are looking for your next new favorite spot to study, a place to catch up with friends, or simply looking for a good cup of coffee. This guide will help you find your new favorite go to coffee shop.

Cup of Joe
Cup of Joe is located right on the corner of Main Street.
The moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels cozy and inviting, almost like a jump back in time. The shop is filled with vibrant colors and vintage furniture, creating a unique charm that sets it apart from other coffee places.
Whenever I visit, I always order an iced white mocha, and one of my favorite details is that they serve it in a glass cup instead of a plastic one. When I was a freshman in college, this was the very first coffee shop I tried, and I instantly fell in love with it. I would go day after day to study, connecting with the friendly staff and fellow patrons.
One memorable experience was when a traveling couple needed a place to sit. I offered to share my table with them, and we ended up having a wonderful conversation, getting to know each other over coffee. Moments like these make Cup of Joe a truly special place.

Sarah’s Espresso
Sarah’s Espresso is also located on Main Street. It is inside Brass Tap.
There is a lot of seating inside which is perfect if you are wanting to go study or even catch up with friends. Sarah’s has a modern feel to it.
What makes Sarah’s Espresso different is their best selling energy brews. They have a ton of different flavors and every month they have speciality drinks they come up with! My favorite one was from February where they had this latte called “2 of hearts” it was with raspberry, strawberry and white mocha sauce, topped with cold brew and white mocha drizzle. When the time comes I recommend trying that drink!
Another favorite of mine that is there year round is the cotton candy energy brew. It is with monster and blue raspberry, raspberry, and vanilla. I never thought vanilla would be good in an energy drink but it makes the drink 100x better!
This has become one of my favorite places to go. My friends and I go at least twice a week and hang out and talk here and the drinks never disappoint.

The Vibe Coffee and Ice Cream
The Vibe is located on Waterloo Road close to Pepper’s Grill and Sports Club.
The Vibe has a 70’s and modern boho theme to it. I recently found this place and have been telling all my friends to try it! It used to be just an ice cream parlor then transformed to both coffee and ice cream. When you first walk in it’s very inviting and calm. There is plenty of seating for studying or going with friends. They offer fun drinks you wouldn’t see anywhere else. I personally haven’t tried any but looking on their instagram makes me want too.
They also partner with other small businesses inside their own business where they have macaroons by Sani. I tried when I went and got a s’mores macaron and it was AMAZING. They also have baked goods from Moos Bakery such as scones, cake balls, brownies, and cookies. Whether you are wanting to get a coffee, ice cream, or a quick sweet treat the Vibe has it all!
