A day in my life at Scooter’s is always changing. Whether that be new drinks being made, problems with our machines, or talking with friends it’s always a different shift.
I’m the type of person that loves lists. I love checking things off and getting things done. At Scooter’s we have daily tasks, hourly tasks, and deep cleaning tasks. We work on the tasks as a team I like to make it a competition on who can go faster on the certain task. It makes things fun.
One of my favorite things about this job is the fact that I can try any drink, I can make my own concoctions of what I think will taste good or what hasn’t tasted good. Once I tried a blue raspberry latte because someone came through and ordered it. I had to see what it was like, let me tell you, it’s not good. I’m simply a white mocha girl through and through so I’ve tried white mocha with almost all the syrups.
Most of all whenever I go into my shift I get to see my friends. This job has brought me some of my best friends and I wouldn’t want to trade that for the world. We get to bond over something we all love to do. Which is make drinks. We are able to go into work and talk about our lives and get closer to one another all while working.
