I am a senior at the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Textiles & Apparel and a minor in Marketing. I have always had a passion for fashion as a way to be creative and express myself through styling. I find interest in many areas of the industry, from print design to merchandising, but I have a goal of being a Buyer. I enjoy studying fashion and the latest trends that surround today’s culture. In the Textiles and Apparel program, I have designed lots of apparel items, sewn garments, studied material development, used social media for marketing, and studied fashion trends. I wanted to create a fashion blog to share my love for this industry with others. I love to analyze fashion trends to style my own and others’ outfits. I find enjoyment in creating new looks and using them as a form of self-expression and being my own individual.
